Few details on this model are available, but industry sources in Asia indicate that it will have support for connecting to cellular-wireless networks. Acer decided to forgo Microsoft Windows in favor of the Chrome OS in order to reduce the price of this upcoming tablet.

The company hinted that Google (which is already a Synaptics customer), will be using this touchpad for its upcoming ChromeOS devices
