Home Delivery | Place an Ad | Print Ads | Mobile Home News Sports Entertainment Living Opinion Obituaries Classifieds Real Estate Jobs Cars August 19th, 2010 07:54pm HP: webOS tablet coming early 2011 by wayne.grayson An idea of what HP’s webOS tablet may look like Just yesterday we talked about the possibility of a tablet running Google’s Chrome OS and today there’s big news coming from HP that the company will release a tablet running Palm’s awesome webOS, which HP acquired earlier this year. PreCentral reports that during an earnings call an HP spokesperson responded to a person asking whether or not Apple’s iPad has hurt their netbook sales by saying HP will release “a webOS-based product in Early 2011.” WebOS is an extremely refined mobile OS that was placed on Palm’s Pre and Pixi smart phones. Unfortunately the OS hasn’t received much love since sales of the Pre and Pixi were much lower than needed to keep the company afloat.
